STILL CURIOUS.
STILL DISCOVERING.
And that’s made all the difference.

The longer I do this work, the more I realize it was never really about the cameras. It’s about understanding people, uncovering what matters most, and remaining curious enough to keep discovering something new. I’m still chasing the stories that make people stop, feel something, and see the world a little differently.
I’m still chasing the stories that make people stop, feel something, and see the world a little differently.
In a “previous life,” I was in the music business. It was more than thirty years ago now, but it’s still near and dear to my heart. The songwriters in my last two bands had publishing deals with Warner Brothers, and I had the privilege of learning from people who understood both the art and the business of creating something people connect with. Looking back, that’s where my foundation as a producer began. It’s also where my love for great audio comes from… a detail I’ll always obsess over. I couldn’t do what I do today without that experience.

Over the years I’ve worked across many industries, from education and travel to nonprofits, western brands, politics, and the horse industry I’ve been part of for more than thirty years. I’ve filmed in dusty arenas, corporate boardrooms, and places all over the world. And while every project looks different on the surface, I’ve found they all have one thing in common. They’re about people, and what moves them.
People don’t care because they’re given information. They care because they feel something, and that’s become the philosophy behind everything I do.
Before we ever think about production schedules or shot lists, I want to understand why we’re making something in the first place. Who are we trying to reach? What do we want them to feel? And what story are we really trying to tell? I’ve found that asking better questions always leads to better work.

I don’t see myself as someone clients hire to make videos. I see myself as a creative partner they bring in to help them uncover, shape, and communicate something that matters.
And after all these years, I’m still curious enough to keep looking for it.
