I uncover those stories, and turn them into experiences people remember… and that begins with listening, and understanding what makes people care.

Cameras Bore Me

No, this isn’t a clickbait statement. For years, I thought my passion was filmmaking, then one day I realized it wasn’t cameras, lenses, or lighting that excited me most—it was understanding what makes people care. Great stories don’t begin with production. They begin with psychology, curiosity, and the decisions that shape how people feel. That’s the work I’m most passionate about.

A creative partner isn’t hired to just produce a video. They’re invited to help make the idea better. They’re invested in the success of the idea, not just the production.

Adventure Isn’t Optional

I jokingly refer to my favorite projects as adventures. Sometimes that means filming underwater. Sometimes it’s flying a drone. Sometimes it’s standing ten feet in the air in the bucket of a tractor, wondering if this was really the best idea.

Years ago, I was trying to get business insurance when my agent called… he was not amused. Apparently, the underwriters had taken one look at my website and decided I was too much of a risk. His advice was simple: “That picture of you standing in the tractor bucket up in the air? Take it down.” I didn’t. (I did eventually get insurance.)

Curiosity has a funny way of leading me to interesting places. I have a feeling it always will.
